As a way to make CrossFit and fitness more accessible, Carousel CrossFit holds a FREE class for anyone to participate in. The Community Class will run the FIRST Saturday morning of every month at 9 AM. This class will be focused on the fundamentals of CrossFit to introduce the movements and workout style to those unfamiliar with our sport.
Any current CCF member is welcome to join this class as well to get a refresher on movements and work on their skills in a more relaxed setting.
Some things you can expect from our Community Class:
- FUN! – Our coaches are always excited to teach the sport of CrossFit and love when they have the opportunity to help newcomers. Our members are also extremely friendly and helpful and create a great environment for working out.
- A learning experience – CrossFit can often be intimidating, which is EXACTLY why we’ve created this class. The movements will be based on the very basics to ease into each workout and we will be sure to go over the skills needed to complete each WOD (Workout Of the Day). This is also a great opportunity for our newer members to jump into some lighter, less competitive classes that are focusing on the fundamentals.
- A great workout – Even though we will be using this time to introduce CrossFit to the members of our community and focus on the fundamentals, don’t let that fool you. The beauty of CrossFit is that it is universally scalable to fit your ability level so that you can perform every workout at a high intensity.
How to Sign Up:
Just stop by Transcend Fitness Club, right next door to Carousel CrossFit, to fill out your waiver (safety first!). Once you’ve filled out your waiver, you can head to the CrossFit gym and get ready for your workout, and we will take it from there! It’s as easy as that!
